Job title : 2019/12/20 – MRI Application Scientist at Bruker

Mission : You will be integrated into our international application team, which will bring you in contact with the leading experts in the field and will require close co-operation with colleagues in the integration, soft- and hardware departments.

The tasks include:
- Demonstration of our preclinical imaging systems, in particular MRI
- Creating protocols, workflows and optimizing application sequences
- Customer training worldwide (with a focus on Europe)
- Customer teaching (in-house, webinars) Sales and after sales support (e.g. customer hotline, customer visits)
- Support of system integration and component specification
- Creation of user documentation and training material Marketing support (marketing materials, lectures, and data preparation) Assist in trade shows and conferences worldwide - -- Working with small rodents

Locality : Ettlingen, Germany

Remuneration : Position opened since 12/18/2019 Type of position - Regular

Degrees required : M.S. or Ph.D. in the following areas is a prerequisite for this position. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Molecular Biology, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biology

Skills required : At least 5 years' direct experience in a small animal imaging laboratory and/or in a company providing small animal imaging equipment. Experience with MRI imaging systems required. Very good command of spoken and written English Good command of spoken and written German is a plus Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical, and proposal communication and presentation skills Personal strengths should include flexibility, communication and team-work skills Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency Specific knowledge of the operating software for our MRI systems is desirable „Fachkunde im Strahlenschutz“ and willingness to work as Strahlenschutzbeauftragter is a plus Willingness to travel worldwide
