Laboratory of AI and Biomedical Science (LABS) is recruiting now at all levels! LABS (https://labslaboratory. com/) focuses on developing and applying artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) to various biomedical data related to human aging and disease. Dr. Junhao Wen is an Assistant Professor and the PI of LABS, based at the Department of Radiology at Columbia University (https://www.columbiaradiology.org/profile/junhao-hao-wen-phd) in New York (https://www.nygenome.org/about-us/our-people/faculty-scientists/affiliate-members/), and is also an Affiliated Member of the New York Genome Center. LABS’s interests include developing and applying statistical and AI/ML methodologies to “big data” in multi-omics and multi-organ data for aging and diseases like Alzheimer’s. We emphasize using advanced AI/ML techniques and multi-omics/organ data, including MRI, genetics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, to solve clinically relevant problems for precision medicine. All relevant directions can be pursued based on discussions, interests, and expertise.
